Two free inspections: one when something is wrong and you need a repair price, and one before winter to make sure the fireplace is safe.
The inspection for a repair is for when something is already wrong: a leak, smoke, a gas fireplace that will not light, or rust on the chimney top. We find the cause, photograph it, and give you one written price.
The winter safety inspection is for before the first cool night. We check the cap, chase cover or crown, flue, damper, gas valve, pilot and glass seal. Most problems we find in the fall are small, and they are cheaper to fix then than in January.
